We are teachers, principals, librarians, Pastoral Associates, Directors of Religious Education, Administrators of personal care homes, social ministers, senior-citizen companions, nurses, liturgists and diocesan Directors of Education and Formation ... to name just a few of our ministries.

In addition to the United States, the School Sisters of Saint Francis can be found in South Africa, Chile, Czech Republic, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Slovakia.

In the United States Province, we operate three sponsored ministries:

Mount Assisi Academy Preschool
Saint Francis Center for Renewal

We are also involved in classroom education and administration, religious education and pastoral ministries in Arizona, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Texas.
